Warm water and mild soap after each use. Never put your knife in the dishwasher; the harsh detergents and jostling will damage the edge and handle.
Step 2: Dry
Towel dry immediately. Don't leave it wet or in the sink; even stainless steel can develop spots if left damp.
Step 3: Store
Use a knife block, magnetic strip, or blade guard. Never toss it loose in a drawer; it dulls the edge and is a safety hazard.

Got this for myself after wanting a nicer santoku for a while. Out of the box it was insanely sharp, like cut myself on the edge just wiping it down (my fault). Used it for meal prep for a week and it glides through onions, bell peppers, everything. The Damascus pattern is really pretty too, my wife keeps commenting on it. Definitely feels like a quality knife.
Good knife overall. Cuts really nice and holds an edge well, I've been using it for about a month now and havent had to sharpen it yet. The only thing is the handle is a little slick when my hands get greasy, I wish it had a bit more grip texture. Still a solid buy for the price though, way better than what I was using before.
Got this knife about a month ago and honestly I'm blown away by how sharp it is right out of the box. I've been using it for everything from dicing onions to slicing up chicken thighs and it just glides through everything. The handle feels really solid in my hand too, not slippery at all. Definitely a massive upgrade from the old random knife I was using before.
I was using a german style chef knife before and this santoku is a whole different experience. Much better for precise vegetable work in my opinion.
Good knife. The flat profile is great for chopping, I use it on my big cutting board. It's a little heavier than I expected from the pictures, but not in a bad way, feels sturdy. Edge retention is good so far. I just wish the handle had a bit more texture or something, its very smooth. But yeah, cuts great, looks beautiful on the magnetic strip.
So sharp. I was a little nervous at first but it makes chopping onions and peppers a total breeze. The handle is comfortable too, no slipping even with wet hands.
Very sharp out of the box and the pattern is unique. My wife finds it a bit too 'grippy' on the handle, she likes a smoother finish. I like it though, so it's just a personal thing. Good knife.
I'm not a professional chef or anything but I cook a lot at home. This knife just makes the whole process more enjoyable. It feels like a real quality tool.
Really nice knife overall. The edge is fantastic and it looks great. My only minor thing is I wish the handle was a tiny bit more rounded, my hand gets a little tired after a lot of chopping. Still a great purchase.
Ok so I've had this for about a month now and its my go-to knife for pretty much everything. The edge is still crazy sharp, I barely have to do anything to it. The pattern on the blade is really cool, looks different in different lights. I use it for all my veggie prep, makes quick work of onions and peppers. For the price I think its a steal, way nicer than the department store knife I was using before. Came in a nice box too.
